![]() ![]() ![]() ], ], ], ], ], ], and ] can fit in most Golgari decks and perform very well as recursion options. Dredge creatures like ], ], ], and other self mill options like ] will be synonymous with drawing cards to a Golgari deck thanks to their amazing focus on recursion while making Hogaak easier to cast. Hogaak wants a mix of bodies in play and fodder in grave so self mill will be a portion of your deck. Your ramp and card draw engines will be in creature form like mana dorks, ], ], ], ], etc. Either way Golgari care about creatures so your deck will be revolving mostly around creature synergies. I'm a bot - visit me in /r/edhrec or edhrec.Golgari decks aim to use the grave as their second hand and look to out grind the competition through aristocrats and stax or just aim for a good 'ol fashion beat down like Hogaak wants to do. What do you think? Krosan Grip or Nature's Claim? If you've got further suggestions, they can also be looked into too and I can give reasons for (or against) running it in this deck. I've been having a debate with a friend all night, and he still thinks Krosan Grip is the better card, because Claim gains them life, but he hasn't seen the damage output of this deck, so I don't think his opinion matters for much. I remember running someone else's list for Selvala, Explorer Returned, they ran a Nature's Claim over Krosan Grip, and I don't remember the reason. I post it here partly as a recommended list (as of yet, I have lost once with it, after 7 successful tests previous to it), but partly to get some input on a choice I've been debating about for a while. A lot of tinkering, but I'm happy overall with the choices I've made for it. So for the most part, the skeleton of Jarad, Golgari Dredge Lord was easy enough to throw together. ![]()
